Update April 20th
So this is what we're going to do people. Just so that there is no more waiting for this thing to start off. We're going to hold this thing a little differently, well at least in the fighters area.
Since it seems that the auditions are coming a bit too slow for our deadlines. We're eliminating the damn things all together. Now read this really carefully because this is how it's going down. Now Auditions are always open, but as a normal tourney would have there is still a cap on the number of fighters, that has been made 32.

The fighters we have now are going to kick off the battles within "The Lair", but we're making the time of the auditions count. you have to fight a penalty Duel against one of us!!! So lets say you audition after the first combatents here on the page. Well you'll just be noted as a fighter who appeared late. Also you'll have to battle one of our members. To make things fair on those who got their auditions in on time. So yeah you'll be hurt, and thats the handicap for the people who made it on time.

We of the white wolf society respect those who are punctual. Also killing this thing is a big no no. For us and the fighters that are already here. So were keeping it fair to them to hold it like this. The more rounds that pass that your not in the fighters list. The more sever your injuries will be when you enter the fray with the others.
By April 21st the matches will be posted so those who are in rest easy. You guys are loved by the WWS.
So I hope to see more auditions from our late comers.

The White Wolf Tournament

Prophecy tells the story of the Wolf King, a legendary warrior destined to fight the darkness. For 500 years the White Wolf Society has kept watch through the ages for signs of his arrival. Now Sigul, the Lone Wolf, leader of the White Wolf Society has decided the time has come at last. The White Wolf Tournament must be held once again and a new Wolf King will be chosen. Before it's too late...

The strongest fighters in the land have been invited to the tournament held in The Lair, the ancient fortress temple of the White Wolves. Fierce battles await and eventually only one fighter will remain standing. He will be crowned the Wolf King and take his place in legend.

The Tournament: What is it?

The White Wolf Tournament is a classic, elimination style, Original Character Battle Contest. Participants and their OC's wil be pitted in series of battles against other artists and thei creations until only one remains. Participants will battle using the medium of sequential art (comics) or animation. We regret that in this tournament written entries are not permitted. Why should you enter? Because it's FUN!
Tournaments like this challenge your creativity and story telling ability. They let you see your OC being drawn by other amazing artists and you can make new friends and forge new adventures. And let's not forget our fantastic prizes!

Where is it set?

The tournament is set within the crumbling confines of The Lair, the sprawling, ancient stronghold of the White Wolf Society. A rabbit warren of twisted passageways, mazes and gardens, ruined buildings and the Wolf Tower, the gigantic tower at the heart of the complex. As the tournament progresses participants will make their way to the very top of the Wolf Tower through an enormous range of wildly different environments and locations.

How do I enter?

This tournament is open primarily to the members of *RoninsUltramixs fantastic OC league The Samurai Duelling League. Not a member? Then go check it out now! All SDL duellers are welcome. However if you are not a member of the SDL don't panic. You can still use your OC without joining the league. You just need to ensure that your character would be capable of joining the SDL if you wished, ie feudal era, so no guns, robots or magic please. If you need any more information about what constitutes a legal character that can be found here

Auditions

If your OC fits the bill then you need to complete a small audition piece to prove that you're serious about entering the tournament. All you need to do is create a small comic showing your character being invited to the tournament by any member(s) of the White Wolf Society (see below for details). You will also need to have a reference sheet but for SDL members your SDL profile will do fine.

We would like to see as many people as possible take part in this tournament. We can't guarantee everyone who auditions a place but we want as many people as possible to experience the funs and thrill of competing in a tournament like this one. We will try and fit as many of you in as we can! When you've completed your audition, note us and we'll post it our front page.

What we will be looking for! The quality of your art counts of course but more important is the ability to tell a good story and create believable characters. Humour is always appreciated but not mandatory. More important is the ability to get people invested in your characters. Do that and you'll go far...

The White Wolf Society is a team formed for the express purpose of competing in RoninsUltramix's amazing Samurai Dueling League!!! The White Wolf society is a way of making new friends, finding other talented artists to collaborate with, maybe even to gang up on one of the Elite Rank Duelers!

So who are we?

On the surface The White Wolf Society is a dedicated to the smooth transition of cultural and social influence from the different parts of the world. The aquisition and sale of rare goods and artefacts, political influence, information and of course, their swords are for hire as well! If your pockets are deep enough that is...

But buried beneath their mysterious dealings lies a hidden purpose. The White Wolf Society protects secrets that could change the course of history if revealed. Their enemies claim that the White Wolf Society is merely after power. Whether this is true or not is yet to be revealed...

The White Wolf society is led by the "Lone Wolf", who alone controls the Society. Behind him are the "Guards". Each a formidable warrior, they lead the 'Wolves' the footsoldiers of the Society, ten to each Gaurd. 67 in total, other associates are known as Pups

How To Join

If you've been invited you don't need to worry but if you'd like to join then send us note. You may be asked to draw a small comic showing you character being invited by one of the Guards or the Lone Wolf himself. Simple as that! It would be best if your OC was a member of the SDL but if you can adapt him/her to a similar style/period that would be fine as well! But the SDL kicks ass so why aren't you a member already?
